PDC Premier League Darts Night 11 Rotterdam: Betting Preview & Tips
Thursday 16 April 2026 | Rotterdam Ahoy | 7pm BST (8pm CET)
The Premier League Darts roadshow heads to the Netherlands for Night 11 at Rotterdam Ahoy โ and it arrives at a pivotal moment in the season. Jonny Clayton’s dramatic Brighton comeback last week, winning from 2-5 down against MVG to claim a third nightly title, has shuffled the standings and set up a fascinating Thursday night in front of one of the most partisan crowds on the circuit.
For Van Gerwen and Van Veen, Rotterdam is a home game. The Dutch crowd will be electric. For Littler, it’s a venue with a point to prove. For Humphries, it’s running out of time. Here’s the full breakdown.
Night 11 Quarter-Final Draw
| Quarter-Final | Time (BST) |
|---|---|
| Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price | ~7:10pm |
| Gian van Veen vs Luke Humphries | ~7:40pm |
| Michael van Gerwen vs Jonny Clayton | ~8:10pm |
| Stephen Bunting vs Josh Rock | ~8:40pm |
All quarter-finals are best-of-11 legs. The semi-finals and final follow the same format. Night winner earns ยฃ10,000 plus five league points.
Current League Table (After Night 10)
| Player | Points | Nights Won |
|---|---|---|
| Jonny Clayton | Leading | 3 |
| Luke Littler | Close behind | 3 |
| Gerwyn Price | 2 points off top | 2 |
| Michael van Gerwen | 4th | 1 |
| Gian van Veen | Close to top 4 | 0 |
| Luke Humphries | Danger zone | 0 |
| Stephen Bunting | Outside top 4 | 0 |
| Josh Rock | Outside top 4 | 0 |
Six nights remain after Rotterdam before the play-offs. With all eight players still mathematically alive, every point at Rotterdam Ahoy is meaningful.
Match-by-Match Preview
Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price
Littler heads to Rotterdam stung by back-to-back early exits โ the controversial Manchester loss to Van Veen where he appeared to celebrate a missed double before missing his own match darts, and a quarter-final defeat last week in Brighton at Price’s hands. The world number one has three nightly titles this season but has been inconsistent in his quarter-final matches, losing four of his ten opening-round fixtures.
Price is the form player of the last fortnight. His Manchester performance โ a 107.7 average with a 170 checkout en route to the nightly title โ was one of the finest individual displays of the season. He backed it up in Brighton with another strong run before Clayton stopped him in the semi-finals. Price is closing on the table leaders and a win over Littler here would put serious pressure at the top.
Head-to-head this season: Price won their Brighton quarter-final. Littler won their earlier meeting. This is genuinely 50-50 despite the ranking differential. Price’s current form edge makes this the most interesting match of the night from a betting perspective.
Betting angle:ย Price to win the quarter-final is the value selection โ his form is better than Littler’s right now and the odds should reflect more than they do given Littler’s world number one status. Both players averaging 95+ is a reasonable expectation given the quality and intensity of this match-up.
Gian van Veen vs Luke Humphries
Rotterdam is Van Veen’s home venue โ he’s Dutch, the crowd will be behind him, and the atmosphere will suit his aggressive, attacking style. He has reached four nightly finals this season without winning one, which is both a testament to his consistency and a source of mounting frustration. A nightly title at Rotterdam Ahoy in front of the Dutch faithful would be the perfect response.
Humphries is in crisis. Zero nightly wins, one final appearance, and a play-off place that is now genuinely at risk. The defending champion has looked a shadow of the player who dominated last season. His Brighton quarter-final defeat to Van Veen last week โ where Van Veen won 4-6 โ came in the most brutal fashion for Humphries, who won five of the first six legs only to lose six on the bounce.
Van Veen has beaten Humphries in their last two Premier League meetings. The momentum, crowd, and form all point the same direction.
Betting angle:ย Van Veen to win is the clearest selection of the night. Rotterdam Ahoy home advantage plus superior current form makes this one of the most one-sided quarter-finals on paper despite the rankings suggesting otherwise.
Michael van Gerwen vs Jonny Clayton
The rematch everyone wanted after Brighton. MVG had this won โ 5-2 up with match darts โ and somehow lost 5-6. Clayton capitalised on two missed match darts to complete one of the great Premier League comebacks and leapfrog back to the top of the table. MVG will be furious. Clayton will be confident. Both ingredients make for an explosive quarter-final.
MVG at Rotterdam is a different proposition to MVG anywhere else. Seven Premier League titles, legendary status in the Netherlands, and the fierce pride of a player who does not take losses well. Expect a reaction performance. Clayton is managing gout this season according to reports but has been phenomenal, winning three nights and demonstrating the kind of fighting spirit Brighton showed he still has in abundance.
Betting angle:ย MVG for revenge at home is the narrative play and likely the correct one โ his motivation here will be extremely high. However, Clayton at 5-2 down has already shown he doesn’t fold. Over 10.5 legs played is worth considering given both players’ tendency toward competitive, high-scoring matches.
Stephen Bunting vs Josh Rock
The bottom half of the draw. Both players are outside the top four and need results urgently. Bunting has shown flashes โ he reached the semi-finals in Brighton โ but has been unable to string results together consistently. Rock hit a nine-darter at Night 4 in Belfast in front of his home crowd but has struggled to accumulate points across the season.
Bunting beat Rock 6-1 in their only previous quarter-final meeting this season. On current form Bunting is the more reliable player, but Rock’s biggest nights have come in front of loud, energetic crowds โ and Rotterdam qualifies.
Betting angle:ย Bunting to win is the straightforward selection โ better form, better head-to-head, more consistent averaging. Rock is unpredictable enough to cause an upset but the form book points clearly to Bunting.
Night Winner Betting
Van Veen is the sentimental favourite for a home night win that has so far eluded him this season. But the semi-final draw is crucial โ if Van Veen and Littler/Price end up on the same side, the path to a final is more difficult than it looks from the quarter-final alone.
Clayton defending his form in the home of MVG is another compelling story. Three nightly wins from ten nights is the joint-best record in the competition alongside Littler.
Price, having won in Manchester, is the in-form player for a nightly title. Two wins in recent weeks makes him the most dangerous player in the draw right now.
| Selection | Angle |
|---|---|
| Gerwyn Price to win Night 11 | Best form in the competition right now โ two wins in recent weeks |
| Gian van Veen to win Night 11 | Home crowd, four finals without a win โ this feels like the night |
| MVG to win Night 11 | Revenge motivation at home venue โ dangerous combination |
